Your estimated arrival time will be known in advance, which will allow you to book your flights ahead of time, but depending on your response to medication, this may change by a day or possibly two days in some cases. Therefore, when you book your flights in advance, we recommend that you either book flexible flights, or book a day earlier than your expected dates. After your initial testing process, our IVF specialists will be able to make their assessment regarding your fertility status as well as treatment requirements. At this point, you will receive a customized treatment protocol along with your prescription for the medication you will be required to use in order to prepare your body for a successful pregnancy.

Your treatment protocol will provide you with a detailed account of which medication you will use, what dose of medication you will use and the purpose of each medication used during your treatment. While using your medication, we will ask you to have one more ultrasound scan prior to your arrival in Cyprus so that we can monitor uterine conditions. In some cases, two ultrasound scans may be required. Your treatment protocol will specify when your ultrasound scans need to be performed, giving you plenty of advance notice to book your scans locally. This is usually a 10-12 day period which starts with your menstrual cycle or your egg donor's cycle, depending on your menstruation status.

At this point, our experts at North Cyprus IVF Center will aim to gather enough information about your fertility status that will enable them to make an effective assessment.

Initial tests will usually include the following:

- Semen analysis for the male patient

- Hormone testing for the female patient

- Ultrasound imaging and uterine assessment for the female patient

- Infectious disease screening for both partners

- Information on previous fertility treatments (if applicable)

Based on these initial tests, we may require additional tests if we believe there may be additional reasons besides egg related issues that may require attention.

Egg donation program at North Cyprus IVF Center has a special design for international patients. We understand that traveling to Cyprus for long periods of time may not be possible due to work/family commitments, therefore, we shorten the length of stay by helping organize some of the tests, screening and medication use locally in your own country so you can come here for your actual IVF treatment. This means that you can have your treatment at North Cyprus IVF Center by spending 5 or 6 days in Cyprus. Patients who have more time to spare are always welcome to spend the full length of treatment here in Cyprus, which lasts approximately 3 weeks.
